Made-to-order storefront
PJ's Signature Designs
A custom laser-cut wood workshop, given a storefront that turns ideas into orders.
The Brief
PJ's Signature Designs makes custom, laser-cut wood pieces to order. Made-to-order work is hard to sell through an ordinary online store: every piece starts as a conversation, and the craft has to be seen to be sold. They needed a storefront built around that reality.
The Build
We built an atelier storefront designed for made-to-order work. A gallery shows the craft at its best, a custom-request intake captures the details of each commission, and made-to-order checkout lets customers buy work that is built for them. A custom admin lets her run it all herself: adding products, product and work images, and switching discounts and their sale banners on and off, no code required.
- A gallery to showcase the work
- A custom-request intake for commissions
- Made-to-order checkout
- A self-serve admin for products, images, and work
- Discounts with optional sale banners
- A mobile-first, custom design
- Proper Establishment: domain, business email, and analytics she owns
The Result
Designed, built, and live in four weeks. The whole store, from new pieces to sale banners, is hers to run without touching code.
He listened to everything I wanted and built it better than I pictured. I can run the whole store myself, and if I ever get stuck, he is right there.
